Think meditation is ‘woo woo?’ Think again!

There’s plenty of empirical data to show the benefits of meditation. But prior to the age of science (only a few hundred years), humans have been meditating for thousands of years.

In fact, the oldest documented evidence is Indian wall art dated 5,000-3,500 BCE, with written evidence in the Vedas ~1,500 BCE.

Many business leaders today practice meditation daily and encourage their employees to do the same. For example, Jeff Weiner, Arianna Huffington, Ray Dalio, Russell Simmons, Padmasree Warrior, to name a few.

So, how does meditation help improve our success in business? When practiced, meditation provides us:
· Improved memory
· Better focus
· Reduced stress
· Increased emotional control
· Heightened clarity
· Greater self-awareness

Perhaps one of the greatest benefits, though, is the deeper connection with the intuition that is achieved by calming the analytical mind.
